Hey everyone, I just thought I should make a post some time so here I am. Anyway right to the point, I made these delicious dumplings (I just woke up one day and wanted to make dumplings). The only problem was they were so sticky, which made them stick to each other then when I split them apart they fell apart. This was my second try, my first try the dumplings became a "curry".
This is still a work in progress, so I will not release the recipe on til I finish the recipe. If you have an suggestions please leave a comment.
These were surprisingly good and I can't wait to taste more as you perfect your recipe.
ReplyDeleteI usually lightly spray With oil a metal steamer before placing the dumplings And then make sure they don't touch. I also spray the tongs before Removing the dumplings.
ReplyDeleteThose look tasty! Way to go :-) I have used rice paper before, and I think it takes a little practice to perfect the techniqu because of the stickiness. This video I found on youtube might help (I just typed in "How to make a Vietnamese summer roll"): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HeQa5RDcnPY&feature=related
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work in the kitchen!
